i'm suprised by some of these results at how good they are, a pumpkin made of skills, the dogs bring a smile to my face, and the sugar man in a pumpkin was brilliant, also the paragon in the pumpkin.
the rit and para cosplayers were pretty good too^^
all them desevered get recognised

I got an email that told me I was a finalist, and it asked me to choose my preference of Mini from the three that were available. Also confirmation of my address and such.

ah, well, have checked, rechecked and double rechecked my email and nadda, nothing ziltch ....so I guess I suck eggs seeing as I cant even get a finalist position ......(yes I did send in an entry, but no I wont be posting it since it sucks aka didnt win anything, and I dont need anymore negative criticism than my own), but it would be nice to see the 70 as well, not just the 31 top ones---since they did win as well.

Definitely not the 13 years required to play the game!
This contest shows how much more artistic the women of our community are than the men. XD

Mally is in my alliance and she is a girl. that is her brother in law, if i remember right.

Congratulations on the win--I have to say, that Gwen costume looks fantastic. You deserve the prize you got.

Awww, I entered but didn't get anything. Mine was probably a little too photoshopped/touched up. It looks like all of the costume entries that won didn't have any additional touch-ups or mood settings done digitally. Oh well, live and learn.
My entry, in case anyone wants to see it:
Shakkara, your costume is gorgeous! But don't be so pissed that you didn't win, you gotta admit that there's so many gorgeous costumes/drawings that were really well done too (although there were a couple of entries I didn't agree with at all). I rechecked the rules and there was that worrying bit about using art/clipart/whatever from other sources... I didn't think it would count if you had permission for it, like for stock photography, but looks like they aren't taking any chances.
Oh well, better luck next year! And congratulations to all the winners, you've showed us some really amazing art! <3

After Halloween the boys want the scythe mounted on their bedroom wall. The boys made the scythe and I have a funny feeling I will be carrying it around most of Halloween night as they made it a bit large for their sister. The kids wanted a panda... but they did a bit too good apparently and placed too high. If anyone wants to trade vizu and ectos for panda, let me know.

Once again I am amazed at the quality of these submissions!
Congratulations to Koreena on the win! Very well deserved IMO!
I can't begin to imagine how much work must have gone into those costumes. They are certainly not something that was thrown together in an afternoon! I'd love to see higher versions of the pictures to see the detail better too.
Congratulations too to Grey Fox - I have a Grey Fox original drawing of my character hanging on the wall in my study, and he did my avatar/sig too. I love his unique style. Good to see you are still drawing GW stuff! :-)
I wish I had a fraction of the artistic ability of the winners/runners up, but unfortunately art of any kind is something that I can only appreciate rather than do.

Zav's depiction of Shiro is genius. If I had to choose a winner other than Koreena, I'd go with with the Mad King Statue or Rock Star Allie, but i think they chose right.
